A movement retreat in San Pancho, Riviera Nayarit

Set along Mexico’s Pacific coast in the small, artful community of San Pancho, this retreat offers space to slow down and return to yourself. Step away from daily routines for a week of functional yoga, warm sunshine, and life by the ocean.

What makes this retreat especially unique is its setting. San Pancho is a vibrant Pueblo Mágico known for its creativity, music, culture, and strong sense of community. Colorful streets, local art, incredible food, and the energy of the town itself create an atmosphere that feels both inspiring and deeply alive.

Located in the heart of town, the accommodations place you within walking distance of beaches, cafés, restaurants, and local gathering spaces. The tropical modern boutique Hotel Pal Mar blends refined comfort with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Meet the teachers

Sarah Koznek is a Jackson Hole based yoga and fitness instructor specializing in physical therapy informed yoga. Her classes are smart, approachable, and posture-focused, designed to help students move better in everyday life and stay active doing the activities they love.

Sarah began practicing yoga in 2007 and completed her 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training in Jackson Hole in 2017. She later completed the 500-hour LYT Yoga training, deepening her understanding of functional movement, biomechanics, and sustainable movement practices. Her teaching blends yoga, mobility, and strength work in a way that helps students feel capable, resilient, and connected to their bodies.

Outside the studio, Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Linguistics from the University of Washington and spent time studying and working in Spain. Her love of travel, language, and connection continues to shape the way she teaches and experiences the world.

Teagan Schweitzer has been teaching yoga in Philadelphia for 20 years and has completed more than 2,000 hours of teacher training across multiple styles, including the 500-hour LYT Yoga training. Her classes combine functional movement, intelligent sequencing, and creative exploration to help students build strength, mobility, and confidence in their bodies.

Outside the yoga studio, Teagan holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology focused on historical foodways and archaeology in Philadelphia, and graduated first in her class from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
